Welcome to my web site!

Thanks for stopping by my little place in the vast cyber world! This site is just another of many personal web pages found on the internet, so I hope it doesn't come across as mundane as so many do. My intention with this particular site is just to try to develop a little more proficiency in developing websites, in particular here, the use of FrontPage2000 itself. Hence the little logo! The reason for this is that I am preparing to attempt to obtain a degree in Interactive Media, or something in that field hopefully. Since acquiring my first computer in the year 2000, and I know that pretty much makes me a late-comer in the world of technology, I have grown extremely interested in the things that you can do on a pc and the world wide web, coincidently, I have lost most desire to meet many of the people who use this potentially wonderful medium for communication for all the reasons, but more about that can be found in my rant section.

As I progress through the making of this site and striving forward in my educational growth, I do hope to meet a few folks, especially from the area I am from (NOVA), that might happen to share the same interests and likes and dislikes that I have. Any input on most any topic will be most appreciated and responded to, questions about anything that I might be able to help a visitor out with will be answered as best as I can, and, if for some strange reason, you are willing to donate some assistance to the furthering of my education will be greatly appreciated. This does not mean that I am soliciting for money automatically, you would be surprised what can solve one person's difficulties and how easy it would be to give that said person a bit of a boost sometimes. I believe strongly in the good, old bartering system that society seems to have buried in the heap of unnecessary aspects of life that we as a people, have gotten completely away from. You need a banner for you personal web site and I need a little letter of recommendation to help build up my portfolio for future employment is an example of the barter/trade principal mentioned previously.

Some of areas that I have a small amount of skill in already, without any technical training are as follows:

	Graphics such as banners or headers (.gif, .jpg, .swf, etc.) to some extent.
	Personal websites and some of the less complicated aspects included within.
	Photographic things such as slideshows, albums, and screensavers made from personal photos.
	Limited photography enhancements (scanning into digital, corrections, editing, etc.).

Some things that I need or can always use more of are as follows:

	A newer printer and scanner, external drive back-up, etc.
	Free web space, maybe the one you don't use that your ISP provides for you.
	Any computer parts suck as ram, video, network, modem cards and such.
	Older pc's that you are about to throw away anyway.
	Software and related items that are needed for the type of degree I am pursuing.

Well, that's enough for now, especially just for the cover page, lol. Please have a look around and see what you can learn about me, maybe more than you really wanted to know! Once my rant page gets growing a bit, you will be able to tell whether you might hate or like me pretty quickly, since my discussing of certain hot topics will almost definitely set you on one side of the fence or the other. Please remember though, that I do not aim to offend or insult in anyway, that they are just my opinions and observations, which like a few other things I won't mention here, we all have!
